Samuel Thalin founded Hissmekano in 1938, first under the name Stockholm hisservice. The company has since evolved and specialized its business into the supply of elevator components.

 


Hissmekano is the leading wholesaler of elevator components in Scandinavia and Finland with 20 dedicated employees in Sweden and over 220 customers in Northern Europe. Corporate headquarters are located in Täby, and a local sales office opened in Gothenburg in the spring of 2011.

 


Hissmekanos subsidiary in Estonia utilizes advanced CAD / CAM technology to produce many of Hissmekanos elevator components. Hissmekano can in a short time produce products that are hard to find or who have gone out of production in the factory of Estonia.

 


Hissmekano also has a large network of suppliers and aims to always provide all the products our customers need, from guide shoe and door contacts to lift frames and advanced circuit boards.

 


Hissmekanos participatation in the market rests on four cornerstones. These are:
